Hello! I'm Preston Yadegar, and welcome to my personal website.

I'm currently a software engineer at Shepherd, where I work on AI systems for underwriting commercial insurance.

Here's some trivia about me:

• I grew up and currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• I attended Boston University, where I studied Computer Science and Philosophy.
• Previously, I worked at Fifteenth (working on agents for taxes) and Writ (acquired by Contentful), a BI / data analytics platform.
• Before that, I had cofounded Shareholder Vote Exchange, a novel financial exchange for trading proxy votes.
• The 2023 Paris Marathon was my first and some day I hope to break the 3-hour mark.
• I enjoy playing chess, backgammon, poker, and many other games.
